Do you provide therapy?
We do not provide mental health therapy but we make it our business to know the providers in each of our regions so that we can give you a custom referral based on your specific needs.

What services do you provide?
In addition to our information and referral service, we provide client assistance and advocacy for individuals experiencing mental health challenges. We also offer peer support groups for adults with intellectual and/or mental disabilities, Widows, and Veterans. Mental Health America also runs educational programs for early detection of developing mental health disorders, anti-bullying, anti-stigma, and emotional intelligence. We also provide Mental Health First Aid training, as well as Youth Mental Health First Aid Training. Please see the programs section of our website for more information.

What are your funding sources?
We are a non-profit and we do not charge for our services; therefore, we are reliant upon grants and private donations. United Way of Howard County & Tipton Counties, Center Township Trustees, The Community Foundation, United Way of Miami County and We Care currently provide the bulk of our funding. As fundraising and grants have become more competitive, private donations are vital to our organization in order to continue our mission.
